FAQs

  • What can I expect in the first consultation session?

On your first visit, you will be given a Medical and Wellness Assessment Questionnaire to complete as your therapist needs to understand your current or previous injuries, medical or well-being condition to deliver the best results from a tailored approach.  Follow by the massage.

  • What should I wear during the massage?

Before the massage, I will leave the room to give you privacy to prepare yourself on the massage table.  Gents should undress and leave their short pants, boxer or underwear on.  Ladies will be the same as men, but with an option to wear a patient gown for me to access your back freely.  Fresh fleece blankets to properly drape yourself to cover your entire body. Once is done, I will knock on the door and start the treatment.

  • Which part of the body will be massaged?

A full body massage will be given with Raynor massage treatment (excluding the genital area), especially on the head, hands and legs. Clients will be fully draped in soft comfortable fleece and only uncover one working area at a time. This is to ensure your comfort and privacy.

  • What do I need to do to prepare before the massage?

For ladies, please ensure all your jewellery and hair accessories are removed. If possible, please come with the simplest facial make-up.

  • What can I expect in an instant bodywork session?

For bodywork bone setting treatment, undressing is not necessary. Guys will normally be asked to remove their tops and ladies will be given a patient gown to access the entire back adjustment with therapeutic massage.

  • Will the massage be painful?

Raynor massage is a deep tissue treatment, and I will work together with you to find your body root tension point to release you from discomfort and blockage. Therefore, there may be a certain level of discomfort during the treatment. However, I will regularly check your sustainable pressure with you to make sure you are comfortable with it.

  • How will I feel after the treatment?

Most people will feel instantly re-energized and lighter after the treatment. Some will feel completely relaxed and sleepy as Raynor massage and traditional bone setting will remove your body toxin, discomfort and pain.

  • I feel tender and tingling sensations after the treatment?

This is perfectly common for some people and it is nothing to worry about. The day after your massage it is possible that you may feel a little tender in areas where you had tightly held tension which I worked deeply into. Some will feel soreness, but this will pass quickly. The overall result of releasing the residual tension and the wonderful relief that brings should make up for any mild discomfort.

  • Can I bring along my husband/wife or even a friend sitting in the treatment room with me?

Of course, as long as your companion is sitting there to observe without chatting I can put 100% effort into the treatment. As an extra service, free WiFi will be provided.
